The Appalachian Mountains have a rich tradition of handicraft and Heritage Handcrafted Furniture is proud to continue the tradition. By employing centuries old woodworking techniques and tradition joinery, our furniture is built to be passed on. Every piece is built by hand to tailor your home or business. We no longer do built ins or custom kitchens. 

Step 1. Initial consultation

Find some inspiration photos, make a drawing or discuss with us what you are interested in. We will come to your house to take measurements and talk about your ideas including stains, finishes and hardware. The entire consultation is 100 percent free.

Step 2. Design presentation and Deposit

We present a design and discuss any changes that need to be made. Once we settle on a design you will be given a quote and a 40 percent deposit will be paid to secure a place in our queue.A $200 design fee must be paid upfront before the drawing is presented.

Step 3. Buying the lumber

We source all of our wood from local, environmentally conscious saw mills in western North Carolina it is the best quality material in the area.

Step 4. The Build

Everything is built by hand in our shop in Hendersonville, North Carolina using traditional joinery and old world woodworking techniques.

Step 5. Delivery

I will bring the piece to your house and install it personally with free delivery to Asheville/Hendersonville area.
